Walkerton and area businesses are invited to attend an Information Session for Businesses on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at 6:30 p.m. at the Walkerton Community Centre (290 Durham St., Walkerton) to provide input and discuss concerns about the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment for the Replacement of the Durham Street Bridge. If you are unable to attend the meeting, comments can be submitted directly to the project team via email to Kelly Vader, Environmental Planner. Bruce County is undertaking a Transit Demand and Feasibility Study to get input on the need and demand for transit solutions for County residents, workers, students, and visitors. Take the Online Survey by Friday, May 26, 2023 to help Bruce County develop an understanding of local travel needs. A hardcopy survey can be mailed to you if you are unable to complete the online survey. Learn more at www.brucecounty.on.ca/TransitStudy

Nominations are open for the Brockton Good Neighbour Award and the Outstanding Youth Award until June 1, 2023 at Noon. Complete an online Nomination Form on our Volunteer Appreciation webpage, or contact Deputy Clerk, Sarah Johnson for assistance.
