Staff seek Council's formal approval by resolution regarding the designation of the Brockton Heritage Committee Reserve Fund which was discussed at the June 8, 2021 Council Meeting.

Concession Road 8 D.S. Weis Memorial Bridge located between Sideroad 10 and Bruce County Road 3 will be completely closed temporarily from June 21, 2021 until at least late August 2021 for bridge repairs. A detour along Concession Road 10 remains in effect. 

Bruce County are replacing culverts and paving along Bruce Road 3 (150m North of Cargill Road to 200m South of Chepstow Road (Dunkeld)) from June 7, 2021 until July 31, 2021. The road is now single lane entry, and traffic control persons are on site to direct traffic.

Bruce County are conducting surface rehabilitation road repairs on Bruce Road 4, from Sideroad 20 to 150 metres west of Ontario Road at the east end of Walkerton, from June 2021 to August 2021. One lane will remain open to traffic at all times, however traffic delays are expected.

Chepstow Road (Concession 6) will be temporarily closed to traffic throughout the summer for culvert replacement. A detour is located along Concession 4.

That the Council of the Municipality of Brockton will enter into Closed Session in order to address matters pertaining to:

  • Personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees - Staffing Update, Committee Vacancy
  • A proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board - Servicing Considerations
  • Litigation or potential litigation, including matters before administrative tribunals, affecting the municipality or local board - Drainage Matter
  • A position, plan, procedure, criteria or instruction to be applied to any negotiation carried on or to be carried on by or on behalf of the municipality or local board - Municipal Agreement
