Bruce County Transportation and Environmental Services have temporarily closed Bruce Road 19 between Concession 8 and Concession 10 Brant until approximately September 19, 2022 for culvert replacement.

The Rotary Club of Walkerton are hosting an All Candidates Meeting on September 28, 2022 from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Victoria Jubilee Hall. A meet and greet will be held prior to the meeting from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m.

The County of Bruce is considering options associated with replacement of the Durham Street Bridge which spans the Saugeen River along Bruce Road 4 in Walkerton. A Public Meeting has been scheduled on October 4, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. at the Walkerton Community Centre to update residents of the current status of the project, including project details, preliminary findings of a hydrology study, bridge design alternatives, and a review of detour alternatives for pedestrian and vehicular traffic.
