The Municipality of Brockton is rehabilitating the tennis courts located at Centennial Park in Walkerton including the new fencing, lighting, resurfacing, and  the addition of pickleball courts. Construction starts July 10, 2023. Visit our Tennis Court Rehabilitation project on Build Your Brockton to learn more and stay updated on this project.

The Market Garden (park located on Durham Street, Walkerton) will officially open on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 with a celebration from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m.! We thank everyone who donated towards this community project! Learn more at Brockton.ca/MarketGarden.

Summer Streetfest is returning Friday, July 21, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. in downtown Walkerton featuring specials from your favorite shops and restaurants, free entertainment, children’s activities, and more. Durham Street will remain open to traffic, with most activities in the Market Garden. Visit Brockton.ca/Streetfest for more details.
