Reconstruction of McGivern Street in Walkerton will begin August 10, 2020 until early October or Mid-November. Construction will occur from Yonge Street to James Street, and will take place in sections to ensure access for residents, Brucelea Haven, and the South Bruce Grey Health Centre. Alternative detours will also be posted.

The Ministry of the Solicitor General has granted approval for Mayor Peabody to meet with the Solicitor General as a delegation at the virtual AMO Conference on August 17, 2020 to discuss Court Security and the Prisoner Transportation Grant.

The Ministry of Energy, Northern Development and Mines has granted approval for Mayor Peabody to meet with Minister Walker as a delegation at the virtual AMO Conference on August 18, 2020 to Natural Gas. Brockton's Chief Administrative Officer will also attend the meeting.

Council of the Municipality of Brockton will enter into a closed session in order to address a matter pertaining to:

  • Litigation or potential litigation, including matters before administrative tribunals, affecting the municipality or local board - Property Damage Dispute
