Council will present Connie Borth with a certificate recognizing her retirement as Brockton Child Care Centre Supervisor after 34 years of service.

Mayor Peabody provided Notice of Motion at the May 21, 2024 Council Meeting.

On May 21, 2024 Council agreed to waive the Notice of Motion procedures and bring forward this motion for consideration.

Bridge rehabilitation repairs are taking place from Spring 2024 to Fall 2024 at the Durham Street Bridge in Walkerton. Motorists can expect lane closures on the bridge, with traffic control measures in place starting the week of May 27, 2024, and ending in December 2024. Come see planes, helicopters, fire trucks and more at First Responders Day on June 8, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Saugeen Municipal Airport.

The June 18, 2024 Brockton Council Meeting will occur at 7:00 p.m. in the Cargill Community Centre (999 Greenock-Brant Townline, Cargill) instead of the Bruce County Council Chambers. This meeting will be held in hybrid format, in person at the Cargill Community Centre and electronically on Zoom and livestreamed to eSCRIBE.

June 8, 2024 from 10:00a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the P&H Centre - Lion's Den in Hanover.

June 22, 2024 from 11:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Grey Roots Museum and Archives in Owen Sound.
