Deputy Mayor Dan Gieruszak provided Notice of a Motion at the November 24, 2020 Council Meeting and the motion was tabled at the December 8, 2020 meeting.

The 2021 Budget Meetings will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at 9:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. and Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. and will all occur electronically through Zoom Video Conferencing and livestreamed to the Municipality of Brockton's YouTube Channel. 

Residents are encouraged to share their opinions and feedback on the 2021 Municipal Budget through our Budget Consultation 2021 Project on our Community Engagement Website, Build Your Brockton. 

Mayor Peabody and Councillor Lang will meet with the Ministry of Heritage, Sport, Tourism & Culture Industries on January 25, 2021 as part of the virtual ROMA 2021 Conference to present their delegation on recreation funding.

The Council of the Municipality of Brockton will enter into Closed Session to address matters pertaining to: 

  • A proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board - Property Negotiation, Drainage Matter
  • Labour relations or employee negotiations - Staffing Update, Policy Update
  • Litigation or potential litigation, including matters before administrative tribunals, affecting the municipality or local board - Planning Application Appeal
