Councillor Greg McLean provided Notice of Motion at the August 8, 2023 Council Meeting.

The Municipality is consulting and engaging with residents about the 2024 budget. An anonymous survey is also open for residents to provide feedback on the 2024 Municipal Budget. The survey closes September 18, 2023 at Noon. View more information and the survey through the Budget Consultation 2024 project on our community engagement website, Build Your Brockton.

Bruce County is undertaking a Transit Demand and Feasibility Study to examine possible transit solutions for County residents, workers, students, and visitors. A second survey has launched to help shape services and solutions that could be considered by Bruce County to address identified transit needs. The survey closes September 1, 2023. 

The Council of the Municipality of Brockton will enter into Closed Session in order to address matters pertaining to:

  • Labour relations or employee negotiations - Staffing Update
  • A position, plan, procedure, criteria or instruction to be applied to any negotiation carried on or to be carried on by or on behalf of the municipality or local board - Agreement Extension, East Ridge Business Park Offer
