The Council of the Municipality of Brockton will enter into Closed Session to address matters pertaining to:

  • Personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees - Property Standards
  • A proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board – Road Allowance Inquiries
  • Labour relations or employee negotiations - Staffing Update
  • Advice that is subject to solicitor/client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose - Regulatory Compliance Matter

In support of social distancing practices and Public Health recommendations, and with an abundance of caution and regard for the high demand that will be placed on municipalities and community organizations for the foreseeable future, the Community Safety and Well-Being Planning Community Engagement Sessions scheduled for all municipalities have been cancelled. Therefore the Brockton Community Engagement Sessions originally scheduled for April 29, 2020 in Walkerton and Cargill have been cancelled.
