Join the Municipality at 1:00 p.m. on June 28th, July 26th, and August 30th for Music in the Park at the Market Garden in Walkerton (312 Durham St)! August 30th is an open mic event celebrating Music on the Porch Day. Be sure to check-out our special Sunday Evening performance on July 6th at 7:00 p.m. Bring your own blanket or lawnchair. The Accessibility Advisory Committee will be participating in a Community Review/Awareness Day on July 11, 2025, reviewing businesses in Walkerton and determining their level of accessibility. Results from the review will be posted on AccessNow, a website, and mobile app providing resources for accessibility information, identifying businesses, places, and locations within communities on a map, identifying their levels of accessibility.

Summer Streetfest takes place on Friday, July 18, 2025 in downtown Walkerton with exciting deals from our downtown businesses, as well as family-friendly activities and music! 

The Municipality of Brockton is currently recruiting for a vacancy on the Accessibility Advisory CommitteeIndividuals that are interested in serving this vacancy on the Accessibility Advisory Committee must have a disability. Individuals interested in serving on the Committee can send a letter to the Director of Legislative and Legal Services (Clerk), Fiona Hamilton by email, in-person at the Municipal Office, or by mail. The deadline for submissions is Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at Noon.

Mayor Peabody will bring forward a Notice of Motion for Council's consideration.

Council of the Municipality of Brockton will enter into Closed Session to address matters pertaining to:
